First of all, people are judging people who used steroids as cheating, I beg to differ. For people like Mark Mcguire and Sammy Sosa (please note I didn't mention Barry Bonds because he hasn't been proven guilty) I think they should make the Hall. There was no rules against steroids in baseball when they used them, so it's baseball's fault for letting it happen. The players wanted an edge and I don't think you can blame them for wanting to perform better. Bud Selig being the "genius" he is, didn't make any rules against them until it became a "big deal". He wanted to make himself look good and show people that he really cared about the integrity of baseball by doing the Mitchell Report, a big witch hunt to make himself look good. Bud Selig is the reason that baseball looks bad, not steroids. Steroids are bad for you, and if players want to take them and kill themselves, that's their business. But therw are rules now (too late). Bud Selig is the worst commissioner in history, he is not only the commissioner who makes baseball look bad because of the steroid witch hunt he created, but he is also the one who refused to give Armando Galarraga his perfect game. Bud Selig doesn't love the game of baseball or it's integrity because he is the reason that the game has lost it's integrity in the first place. If he didn't make baseball look so bad with the Mitchell Report and reveal ALL the baseball players who has taken roids, baseball wouldn't have lost it's integrity. I'm all for putting Bonds in the Hall of Fame whether he used steroids or not. He was an INCREDIBLE hitter with or without roids. Also, people keep saying he used them...Really? Are you sure? How come we can find evidence of lesser players like Rod Beck using steroids (thanks Bud Selig) and we can't find ANY evidence against the games greatest hitter in baseball history??? No evidence at all, no records, no tests, no players willing to testify...very strange. Moral of the story is this, Bonds belongs in the Hall, Mcguire belongs in the Hall, Sosa belongs in the Hall, and Clemens belongs in the Hall. So WHAT "IF" they used steroids!!! Who gives a crap! So what if they're "juiced", is that so bad? Ty Cobb beat up a black guy for congratulating him on his 3000th career hit, players in the 70's INCLUDING YOUR "home run king" Hank Aaron used "energy drinks" (amphetamines) to stay on top. The sports writers are stupid today and won't vote these players in. As Jesus said "let he who has not sinned throw the first stone". The sports writers shouldn't get to vote, the managers should. Cobb is in the Hall and Aaron is in the hall...I haven't even talked about people like Rickey Henderson.
Well all I got, the baseball office really ticks me off as you guys have seen.
