Hi guys, I'm back. I apologize for not blogging about the World Series, but, to me, it was one of the dullest we have had in years. Low scoring games, no homers, just pitching. It didn't make a very interesting ballgame. Anyhow, I wanted to talk about the Vikings. To be quite honest, I had high hopes for the Vikes this year. However, they seem to be crumbling. Issue number 1 would be Brad Childress. Now, you could say Brett Favre is the problem, but, in reality, he hasn't played that bad. The way Mr. Childress handles critical situations is the main roadblock in the Vikings' way. Randy Moss is a prime example. The team basically wasted a 3-rd round pick for a guy who played 4 games. Now, we all know, it's Murphy's law. That 3-rd round pick will eventually become a superstar- but that's just how the game works. Solution- Let Brett heal, get back that locker room that Brad lost, and, fire Childress. Case closed. As always, give feedback and comment below.
Thanks, Ty

-_- I could have had 25 fantasy points from AP yesterday, but no, Childress had to run up Favre's stats. In my mind, Childress has done a worse job than Wade Phillips this year...

Uh Ty...you do when that 42 year old is BRETT FAVRE...

Favre or not, Childress ran this team into the ground. Even with the win yesterday, he got lucky. Who runs a bootleg play action when your 42 year old quarterback has a broken ankle?

You must realize it's the GM's problem that Favre is back. Childress just wanted that, it's the GM that made the deal. Am I correct? That stupid decision should fall on the GM.

Nice comment, Joe. I agree totally. At this point, I think the Vikes would be better off with Tavaris Jackson. Bottom line- If the Vikings lose to the Cardinals today, he's done.

Childress is (in fact) the problem, beginning with allowing players to jet down to Mississippi to beg an arthritic QB that should have hung up his spikes after last season to return for one more run, and ending with trading for an immensely talented guy that takes entire series off & can NEVER be second banana on any team. Now, Moss goes to a Titans team with a strong coach... and is unquestionably the most talented WR on the roster. So, why am I holding my breath waiting for his next break with reality?

Brett's old, he's hurt, and is more concerned about who his masseuse will be after the ball game, but he hasn't played half bad in the midst of it all. AP can't be a one man show, but he sure comes through on my fantasy team every week! Also, there is nothing wrong with Randy Moss. After realizing how good he had it in NE, he wanted to honor his former GREAT coach. There's nothing wrong with that. As they say, "The grass is always greener on the other side."

I believe your wish will be granted! If the Vikes lose this weekend CHILDRESS IS GONE MONDAY MORNING!! The owner is not to happy w/him and Friday he got on Harvins butt for not playing to well in practice......Practice ....PRACTICE?!?!?! (a little Allen Iverson humor) Favre isnt the issue , its the play calling and coaching by Mr. Chilly! He wont be around by the end of the season...Guaranteed!!!

Well let's be honest. Old Man Favre is old, and is in need of a wheelchair. Not only that but he has that scandal going on about him which may or may not be true. And also, Adrian Peterson can't be a 1 man team haha

What I think don't mean a thing but, i do think there is something wrong with R. Moss

Well it looks like it will just be 2 companies for football cards next year and Topps is not one of them! What do you think?
