The Best Ever?
About a week ago, the most anticipated debut in MLB history was made. Stephen Strasburg, of the Washington Nationals, gave up only 2 runs in 7 IP, and struck out 14 Pirates batters. This phenom possesses an explosive, 100 MPH fastball with an 80 MPH 12-6 curve. He blew through the farm system, with a sub 1 ERA. This move was great preperation for Mr. Strasburg, and allowed the Nats to keep him from arbitration for a little bit longer. Overall, I believe that Stephen will be a perennial All-Star, and possibly a Hall of Fame inductee. The poise he showed after giving up the Delwyn Young was so great, he went on to end up striking out 7 straight batters later in the game. That was some debut, and I absolutely look forward to seeing him pitch in a few days or so. Tell me what you are thinking about this rookie sensation in the comments section. Thanks, Ty

We might be seeing a Stephen Strasburg Award instead of a Cy Young Award eventually. Let's be honest, he looks like he's going to be the best pitcher of the era, but it's too early in his career to even consider that. He is going to have to stay healthy and keep his head on, which so far has been happening. We'll see!
